Worldview Foundation Attends ACT Brumbies vs Fijian Drua
On Saturday night (18 April), Worldview Foundation had the privilege of attending the ACT Brumbies v Fijian Drua match at GIO Stadium, thanks to the generous hospitality of Yara Co.
Representing Worldview Foundation on the night, Worldview Foundation Mentors Jae Lear and Warren Bingwa had the opportunity to engage with partners and stakeholders in a unique setting.
The evening, hosted from the rugby lounge, provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen our partnership with Yara Co, connect with key stakeholders, and continue important conversations focused on creating meaningful First Nations employment outcomes.
We extend our sincere thanks to Tony Abel for organising such an outstanding experience, and to Andrew Muirhead for taking the time during his pre-game preparation to connect with us. We understand how important routine and focus are leading into a match, and we genuinely appreciate him stepping away to share a few moments and provide photo opportunities.
From behind-the-scenes access, time on the sideline during warmups, locker room insights, and being part of the tunnel as the players ran out, it was an unforgettable experience.
While the Brumbies went down 33–28 to the Fijian Drua, the night was a strong reminder of the value of partnerships and shared purpose.
Thank you again to Tony Abel, Andrew Muirhead and the team at Yara Co, we look forward to continuing the work together.
