A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all who attended the 2026 Queensland Reconciliation Gala Event held last Thursday at The Star Brisbane in Meanjin.

Representing Worldview Foundation were staff members Dave Witham and Richard Monaei, joined by Richard Bale and Ben Appo from WV-Tech’s Resource Recovery Team for this significant cultural celebration.

Most importantly, Worldview Foundation was proud to bring along two participants from our Intensive Holistic Employment Pathway program, Jahvarne and Claydis, giving them the opportunity to experience an evening rich in cultural performances, storytelling, and inspiring presentations.

For these two young Aboriginal men, the event was both eye-opening and deeply meaningful, and they were incredibly appreciative of the opportunity to attend.

At Worldview Foundation, instilling cultural identity is a key pillar of our work.

We are committed to creating opportunities for our young program participants to engage in cultural activities that foster connection, awareness, confidence, and pride in their identity as Aboriginal men in this country.
